About The Role

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as an Environmental Engineer / Scientist specialising in contaminated land, with this prominent national consulting firm.

As you would expect, day-to-day matters will span a mixture of office and field activities. Duties include:

• Conduct field investigation works including soil, groundwater, surface water, over-water sediment sampling in connection with site assessments.
• Investigate contaminated sites, groundwater, asbestos, site remediation, acid sulfate soils assessments and waste classification.
• Logging subsurface and contamination conditions in the field.
• Oversee contractors such as drilling rigs, excavators, service locators and traffic control crews to complete works on schedule.
