The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for leveraging data from various sources to provide insights, analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision making across the Customer Operations department and the larger organization. This role combines expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating complex queries functions and procedures to support reporting and processes.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic business decisions and improve operational performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to toll highway operations, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports to support management's decision-making process and strategic initiatives.
Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Proficient in SQL querying and data manipulation techniques to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. Designing and implementing a Data Migration system to integrate data from various data Sources into a SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 database using DTS and SSIS packages.
Continuously explore and implement new data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization's data analytics capabilities.
Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Business, IT, Data, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Advanced skills in MS Office such as Power Automate, Excel, including VBA and Macros for data extraction and reporting.
Strong data visualization skills with proven expertise in Power BI and Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
Have solid understanding and working knowledge of database systems, table and field structures and queries to understand DataMarts (Customer attributes, AR, Billings and Cash Application)
Strong understanding and experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage, processing, and analysis.
Proficient in SQL querying and data manipulation techniques to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, including creating databases and working with DTS and SSIS packages.
Understanding of SDLC phases, including systems analysis, application design, development, and implementation.
Experience with Adobe products (e.g., Acrobat), MS Access, and PeopleSoft.
Well-organized and disciplined with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Independent worker who enjoys challenges and actively seeks knowledge.
