SharePoint Developer

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a SharePoint Developer to work in collaboration with the Web specialist and staff throughout the organization and will focus on SharePoint online site administration covering from tenant level to collection level.

Responsibilities:

• SharePoint online site administration (covers tenant level to collection level):

o Migrating sites from on-premise to online using various tools

o Setting up master pages and layouts, converting custom content search display templates to use in a Sharepoint Online modern site.

o Experience designing/developing custom websites in Sharepoint Online, front-end and back-end, using various frameworks and web parts.

o Experience building complex forms, (branching, approval workflows) on top of Sharepoint on-premise and Sharepoint Online using Microsoft Forms, .Net, Javascript, and Nintex.

o Experience in building admin and authenticated end-user interfaces to access/search/filter/edit forms data

o Experience with multi-step approval/processes workflows/Power Automate

o Experience with building Power BI anonymous and authenticated access data visualization dashboards.

o Working with apps and PowerApps

• Create sites and content management:

o Leverage the tools in the Microsoft Power platform - Power Automate, Power BI

o Customize page layouts and web parts, and work with permissions.

o Configure search hub and search queries.

o Workflows

o Test and enabling 3rd party add-ons.

o Configure unique and refined SharePoint permissions.

Qualifications:

• SharePoint

• 2019 and SharePoint Online knowledge.

• Considerable knowledge of Office 365

• Good and pleasant communication skills.

• Good documentation skills.

• Able to work on premise 80% in Burnaby.

• In addition, this position requires the ability to:

o Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given.

o Good and pleasant communication skills

o Maintain confidentiality.

Hourly rate: $80 per hour
