Your Opportunity:
Healthier Together (HT) is an Alberta-based population health promotion system built with communities, workplaces, schools, and health services including First Nations communities and Métis Settlements. HT uses a practical 5-step approach to bring people together, understand the local context, prioritize, plan, implement evidence-informed strategies, evaluate, and scale and spread successful initiatives across the province. The Health Promotion Facilitator (HPF) will play a key role in HT by facilitating planning and community action to create/enhance environments that promote health and prevent disease. The position provides operational support and coordination in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the AHS HT initiative and works collaboratively with both AHS Zone and Provincial Teams.
