Junior Carpenter

Duties

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications

- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes

- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding

- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers

- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists

Requirements

- Proven experience as a carpenter

- Proficient in using hand and power tools

- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions

- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Siding installation

- Maintenance Person repairs

- Roof construction and repair

- Plumbing installation and repair

- General building construction skills

- Tile laying and flooring installation

- Construction estimating for materials and labor costs

- Ability to lift heavy objects safely

- Basic electrical knowledge for wiring installations or repairs

- Fabrication skills for custom carpentry projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
