Junior Estimator

Joining Alliance Truss Ltd as a Junior Estimator, you will be assisting the sales team in creating project estimates and fostering positive customer relationships. From conducting take-offs to preparing estimates, this role is integral to the organization.

This opportunity is based at either our Coquitlam or Mission office locations.

Responsibilities

• Compile accurate estimates of materials and labour, including detailed quantity take-offs aligned with project contracts.
• Utilize Mitek Sapphire Design software and Alliance take-off software (PlanSwift) to generate detailed project estimates.
• Conduct take-offs for multi-family construction projects, ensuring accurate material and labor estimates.
• Understand and implement contractual terms and conditions effectively.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experienced in generating takeoffs and estimates for residential construction projects.
• Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology or Construction
• Proficient in interpreting and understanding architectural and structural plans.
• Construction/building product knowledge.
