Outside Sales Representative

Anchor Construction Industrial Products has been serving the construction/industrial markets for over 55 years. Through our 6 branches in Western Canada we provide products, solutions, support, service and training to the construction trades and manufacturing marketplaces.

We are looking to grow in Saskatchewan and need a high energy sales professional to join our Saskatoon team.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow profitable sales by maintaining and strengthening business with current customer base while generating new business and opportunities
• Split time between the office and visiting customers - some overnight travel is expected
• Review customers, competitors, trends - create action plans to achieve results
• Maintain and upgrade your working knowledge of all products and inventory on hand
• Provide training, demos and support as needed to deepen customer relationships
• Prepare internal paperwork, process orders, monitor budgets, report on results
• Develop two-way communication regarding challenges and opportunities and collaborate with the local branch and head office teams to improve results

Knowledge & Skills Required

• 3-5 years experience in construction/trades
• 3-5 years experience in outside sales
• An excellent reputation and a deep network
• Extraordinary communication skills
• Customer focused
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A competitive nature with a collaborative work style
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office programs and the use of ERP system
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle is required
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 60 pounds

Compensation package includes salary, commission, gas card, vehicle and cell phone allowance.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
