We are a family-owned leading distributor of pet food and supplies seeking a Edmonton based sales representative to cover our Northern Alberta territory. We are passionate about our people and our mission of Inspiring Leadership and Building Community within our team and among our customers.

· An engaging personality and super interpersonal skills.

· A reliable method of transportation.

· The ability to work independently, and in a team environment.

· A passionate desire to succeed.

· Effective methods for dealing with stress (deadlines, sales targets, some customers, etc.)

· 2 years worth of sales experience.

· Distribution experience would be an asset however full training will be provided.

· A passionate hatred of banality. It’s a big word, it’s OK if you have to look it up.

· Confidence and maturity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

· Complete monthly goal-oriented sales calls to all accounts in the territory.

· Work directly with the head office to ensure our retail partners’ needs are met each month.

· Work with multiple internal departments to execute sales initiatives.

· Prospect for new opportunities/retailers within the territory.

· Oversee and follow up the sales process from order entry to delivery.

· Manage Key Account responsibilities

· Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote our vendors and retailers.

· Submit weekly tracking reports.

· Submit monthly progress reports.

· Overnight travel required.
