We are seeking a talented and experienced General Manager to help us build out this new concept and support the Test Kitchen operations.

Artigiano is not new to Park Royal, but we are taking on a new space, with a new look and much more to offer! This space will be a flagship for our Artigiano Bar concept and house our commissary kitchen.

As an experienced General Manager, you know how to lead a diverse team and can manage various aspects of the operation, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintain operational efficiency across all areas. You pride yourself on your name and your reputation in the community and have a proven track record of successful launches or store opens. You are ready for the next step and are fully equipped to start something with scaling the business in mind.

Job Title: GM Artigiano Bar Café Test Kitchen

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee day to day operations of the café, bar and test kitchen, ensuring seamless service and high-quality standards.
  • Team Management:
  • Initial hiring, training and scheduling staff across all areas, fostering a motivated and efficient team.
  • Develop the café manager, oversee hiring and training of team members.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure excellent customer service, handled complaints and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Manage budgets and ensure profitability through effective cost management.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies along with the marketing team to drive sales and the promote the café and bar.
  • Menu Development:
  • Support the Testing process through innovation and feedback

You will also oversee and manage

  • Use of the shared test kitchen space
  • The schedule with Culinary Team
  • Train new Franchise Partners

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a similar setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget management
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety and liquor service regulations
