Position - Recruitment Coordinator

Office – Home Office

Location – Edmonton or Remote

Salary - $55,000 to $65,000


Managing and streamlining the recruitment process within the organization. This role involves posting job advertisements, updating and maintaining recruitment trackers, closing job requisitions, collaborating with talent partners on priority roles, building and nurturing relationships with educational institutions for technician roles, and assisting with the recruitment for high-priority positions.


Duties:

  • Create and post job advertisements across various platforms, including job boards and company websites.
  • Ensure job postings are accurate, engaging, and aligned with the company’s branding and recruitment strategy.
  • Monitor and update job postings to ensure they are current and reflect the most accurate information.
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers and applicant tracking systems to monitor the status of job requisitions and candidates.
  • Manage all headcount management; ensuring postings have approval, Requisitions are centrally stored and liaison between P&C Coordinators and Recruiters for accurate information in approvals.
  • Create all job profile postings with standard templates.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate sources, and job status.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for closing job requisitions.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and HR to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and institutions to build a pipeline of talent for technician and other roles.
  • Coordinate career fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other engagement activities to attract top talent from educational institutions.
  • Support the recruitment process for high-priority and critical roles within the organization.
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for high-priority positions.


What are the must-haves...

  • Must be able to travel throughout Canada to attend hiring events, as needed (5 – 10%)
  • Previous experience working in Talent Acquisition or HR is highly desired
  • Acceptable Driver’s Abstract and License
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or relevant work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, online ATS and SaaS software
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay self-directed and motivated
