Job Posting for Intermediate/Advanced Bookkeeper at Bizwize Inc.

This is a HYBRID position - The right candidates must initially attend the office in person, however, will have the opportunity to work remotely and come into the office as required in the future.

Busy, rapidly growing, home-based financial Consulting/Accounting firm in Alliston is looking for 2 individuals for the positions of intermediate bookkeeper and advanced bookkeeper to start immediately.

Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday 35 hrs per week.

Core Job Responsibilities:

* Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Year End Adjustments and Year End Working Papers

* Payroll and Month End reconciliations, Government Compliance Filings (WSIB, HST, Source Deductions, Union Dues, etc.)

* Create, format, edit, update, and finalize standard and non-standard templates, letters, reports, correspondence and spreadsheets.

* Consult with Clients

* Audit representation

Qualifications:

* Formal Accounting Education / Qualification is an asset. Strong bookkeeping skills 5 Years Experience is required

* Experience working with SAGE and QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)

* Advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint is an asset

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Skilled at organization

* Strong typing skills (speed and accuracy)

* Strong math, analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Strict attention to detail

* Experience in Year End preparation is preferred.

* Our company operates within a paperless and cloud-based environment. Familiarity with Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive and similar is preferred.
