Farm Labourer

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Pig Barn Laborer.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with vaccinating pigs
• Sort pigs based on size, weight, and health status
• Participate in the shipping and receiving of pigs
• Operate pressure washing equipment to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the barn
• Provide general oversight of pig health within the barn, reporting any concerns to farm management
• Assist with other barn-related tasks as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience working on a pig farm or in a similar agricultural setting is an asset but not required
• Willingness to learn and adapt to barn-specific tasks and procedures

Requirements:

• Ability to work inside a barn environment for extended periods
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from the farm
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the barn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
