The Role
Under the direction of the Vice President, Finance and Information Services, the Payroll and Benefits Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the Payroll Department, and ensuring all 700 Broadmead Care employees are paid accurately. This position provides supervision, support and direction to the payroll staff and is part of the team involved in the delivery of all payroll and benefit services, including to external clients. This role has a significant reporting and analysis component as employee compensation is Broadmead Care’s most significant operating cost.
The Payroll and Benefits Manager is part of the Broadmead Care leadership team and is, as such, excluded from union membership.

What You Bring
You are a detail oriented, organized payroll and benefits professional who brings to the role:
· A degree in Business or Accounting with 5 years’ related experience in a senior payroll role
· Canadian Payroll Association CPM certification
All employees must be eligible to work with vulnerable adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program and provide proof of a negative TB screen and proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
