- Lead a team of talented Associate Mortgage Brokers, Underwriters, and assistants.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Development: Establish, implement, and lead company standards and processes. Drive collective achievement of growth and financial targets.
- Team Optimization: Ensure excellent communication, training, and guidance for staff to maximize their talents and performance.
- Client Experience Excellence: Guarantee every client interaction is processed efficiently and compliantly, aiming for a “WOW factor” response.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operational issues, review client file progress, and provide prompt responses to client, realtor, and lender communications.
- Problem Solving: Intervene and assist with resolving bottlenecks, difficult processing issues, and client inquiries.
- Business Development: Support marketing initiatives, identify opportunities, and enhance relationships with referral partners.

- Standards and Processes: Develop and lead effective company standards and processes, driving growth and achieving financial targets.
- Staff Communication and Performance: Ensure optimal staff communication, training, and guidance, enhancing efficiency and performance.
- Leadership and Training: Provide leadership, training, recruitment, and performance monitoring to deliver exceptional client and referral partner service.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure client requests are processed compliantly, with accurate and timely documentation.
- Client Service Reviews: Conduct daily reviews for prompt and effective client, realtor, and lender communication.
- Marketing and Business Development: Support business growth through marketing opportunities, client retention, and cross-marketing with realtors.

The following attributes are required:
- Valid, up to date BCFSA Mortgage Broker licensing is required, Alberta Licensing is an additional asset.
- Require a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lender or Mortgage Broker Underwriter. (References Required)
- Understand underwriting and lender communication for a high-producing mortgage company
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members is very important
- Strong understanding of technology
- Able to adapt to change and evolve with a growing company
- Strong work ethic and organization attributes with self administration skills
