Position Overview
About The Role:
- Responsible for end-to-end product GTM including cross-functional interdependencies to “connect the dots” and challenge functions in their strategic thinking
- Build and execute strategies to enable successful sell-in/sell-out of product ranges and services according to the category net sales and standard margin targets, pre-, in-, and post-season
- Cross functionally guides step by step every stage of the product launch process from research and development to release, across sales, marketing and product development
- Drive adherence to the GTM calendar and key milestones across teams including ensuring timely decision-making and a high degree of preparation with teams
- Analyze data and track metrics across processes via dashboard to drive improved business outcomes
- Oversee special activations from concept to execution, working closely with local and global stakeholders
- Ensure all key milestones and deliverables are up-to-date with each updated seasonal calendar
- Proactively seek out solutions to potential cross-functional issues that may affect the calendar, process, and organization
- Drives the problem-solving process: frames problems, guides analytical modeling, and through analysis provides insights into solutions
- Communicate and escalate progress, wins, and pain points along the GTM process to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations
- Plays a lead role in cross-functional meetings and facilitates handoffs of key inputs between milestones
- Champions the pipeline of innovation to test and monetize new products
- Conduct post-mortem/hindsight sessions to discuss any recommendations for GTM in the next season
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the success of the GTM strategy
- Conduct research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform strategies
- Develop materials: support and partner with cross-functional stakeholders in preparing materials for GTM milestones and plan development
- Ensure smooth communication with regional teams on product development and major launches
About You
- 5-10 plus years’ experience in project management, change management and project planning, preferably in a retail / fashion environment, strategy consulting company, or banking environment
- Prior experience managing GTM process, calendars (PLM experience a plus)
- Experience working in a team-oriented, cross-functional, collaborative environment.
- Range planning / Merchandising experience preferred
- Consumer-centric process improvement
- Ability to hold teams and individuals accountable to delivery
- Product-oriented – is passionate about product
- Clear communicator – can synthesize data and contextualize ideas for sharing with others
- Collaborative – able to partner with other functions/business leaders on complex problems and business issues
- Intellectually curious – has a passion for business and apparel/fashion, enjoys solving problems
- Action-oriented – enjoys translating recommendations into actions
