This opportunity allows you to lead and train our parts team while working closely with our service department and management team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and train the automotive parts team to achieve high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking of parts.
- Collaborate closely with the service department to ensure timely and accurate parts availability for service jobs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to automotive parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and manage parts inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyze sales and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and other departments.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Automotive parts experience is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with ease.
