Canaropa, a well-established national door hardware and security products distributor, currently has an opening for a full-time permanent position at our NE Calgary location. This role will include reception, client and sales support, along with general office tasks including invoicing, payable auditing, filing and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a smaller office environment and be able to contribute positively to our continued growth and development.
Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting visitors to our branch location
Answering and redirecting phone calls to other team members
Clerical duties including filing, photocopying, data entry and document preparation
Daily invoicing, invoice auditing and freight calculations
Ordering and maintaining office and other branch supplies
Assisting clients with general inquiries
Work closely in a support role with sales, operations and management
Maintain petty cash and bank deposits.
Event and travel planning
Other assignments as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Effective time management and organizational abilities
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Computer literacy and intermediate to advanced skills in MS 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Oracle Netsuite Distribution ERP experience would be an asset
Ability to ensure accuracy on all projects including spreadsheets, letters and other documents
Solution orientated problem solving with attention to detail
Office equipment "know how" and knowledge of general office procedures
Superior customer service skills and a positive telephone manner
Able to work, days, Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 37.5 hours per week
Valid driver’s licence
