Who we are:
Taza Development Corp. (TDC) is a joint venture between the Tsuut’ina Nation and Canderel, a leading Canadian real estate company. The Nation is home to 2400 community members and adjacent to the southwest quadrant of the City of Calgary, Alberta. Governed by a Board of Directors, the TDC team will oversee the development of three distinct yet interconnected villages – Buffalo Run, Taza Park, and The Crossing. Over the next 25 years, this 1200-acre community development project will bring significant social and economic prosperity to the region and elevate Tsuut’ina Nation as a key player in the real estate landscape.

Summary:
The Community Experience and Marketing team at Taza is currently seeking a full-time Community Marketing & Sales Centre Coordinator to embark on an exciting journey with us. In this action-packed role, you will report to our Senior Manager, Community Experience and will be instrumental in highlighting the progress of our development by engaging with the community through face-to-face outreach and marketing initiatives. In addition this role will be overseeing and coordinating operations at our brand-new marketing and sales center at our community village - Taza Park.

A dynamic role that will have growth opportunities, your responsibilities will include supporting our events throughout the year with logistics, planning, budgeting and social media marketing (grand opening, builder launches, charity events, artisan markets etc.), contributing to our social media updates and representing us as an ambassador.

You will collaborate with local businesses, partners and builders to foster a vibrant community spirit and serve as the main point of contact for visitors at the marketing and sales center, to champion and showcase the unique attributes of our community development and assist them throughout their journey. As the initial point of contact, you will oversee and curate a memorable experience for all guests visiting, ensuring an exceptional level of service that drives leads and generates sales for our homebuilder partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer service: Deliver outstanding customer service to our guests by professionally greeting them and offering information. Collaborate with our builder partners to ensure effective onsite lead management.
  • Manage facility operations: Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and Sales Centre are managed and maintained.
  • Marketing: Play an active role in generating real-time, relevant, and brand supportive content. Support contesting, social media posting as a public facing ambassador, event coordination, data collection and collateral development.
  • General office duties: Keep updated records and files, track and respond to inquiries promptly, manage office supplies and inventory, and coordinate logistics for presentations and meetings.
Qualifications & Competencies:
  • An eagerness to learn or have two to four year of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Desire to obtain or have skills in digital communications, storytelling, and brand journalism.
  • Working towards completing or have a certificate, diploma, degree, or designation is an asset.
  • Regular attendance and availability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to reflect business needs are essential to the successful performance of this position.
  • Strong communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity to handle interactions diplomatically and successfully engage with various stakeholders.
  • Exceptional focus on detail and precision in crafting content.
  • Strong time management and leadership skills with the ability to plan, schedule and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability in handling a demanding and ever-changing workload.
  • Motivated to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, competitive, and dynamic environment
