Job Description: Automation Tester

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently on performance testing projects and interacting effectively with the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently on performance testing and interact with the project team.
• Design and maintain the performance test plan for agile project releases.
• Conduct extensive testing on web-based applications and integration systems.
• Write Vugen scripts for various protocols, including Web (HTTP/HTML), TruClient, Java over HTTP, and Web Services (REST APIs).
• Enhance LR scripts with Correlation, error handling, and custom code for different scenarios.
• Utilize C language for writing logic in LR scripts.
• Identify test data requirements and prepare for load tests.
• Design load test scenarios and execute tests in Performance Center/LRE.
• Identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and communicate findings to the project team.
• Use monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, and AppDynamics.
• Write basic SQL queries and manage Batch jobs.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM application.
• Knowledge of JMeter.
• Experience with Duck Creek application.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and team leadership from onshore-Canada.
