Job Posting for Project Coordinator at CAPTAIN HANDY INC
We are currently looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of our landscaping, construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies and determine product availability and terms of sales, best prices and negotiate the best deals
Place orders of supplies, materials and equipment
When required, drive company vehicle to our suppliers
Evaluate and select suppliers based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
When required, lift and load materials in the vehicle, up to 50lbs
Coordinate drivers, transportation and logistics
Manage inventory of tools and equipment
Assist with procurement of tools, equipment, rentals
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or related roles (Estimator, Site Supervisor)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of construction industry standards
Ability to work independently and in a team
Valid Driver’s License in Ontario (G2 or G)
