Position Title: Retail Sales Administrator
Location: Calgary AB or Vancouver BC
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Position Summary:
The Retail Administrator will support the retail sales team by ensuring efficient coordination and management of various retail operations. This role involves maintaining and updating key systems and processes to facilitate seamless interactions between vendors, branches, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain customer portals to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning effectively.
- Handle and process requests for new codes, ensuring they are set up and integrated into the system.
- Regularly update and maintain vendor catalogues to ensure accurate and current product information.
- Coordinate and manage promotional calendars across multiple branches to ensure consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Manage vendor debits, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Oversee the production and distribution of promotional calendars, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and timelines.
- Fulfil requests from sales representatives for POS materials, product samples, and specifications sheets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between multiple branches to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the company’s systems and processes.
- Arrange and coordinate vendor demonstrations and visits, ensuring they are effectively scheduled and executed.
- Manage the coordination of retail recalls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role; a combination of work experience and education will also be considered.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Familiarity with retail vendor portals would be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications would be considered an asset.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
