Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently seeking an individual with strong administrative and customer service skills to join their team. Excellent organizational, communication, research and computer skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize and manage a complex workload as well as be able to work overtime as required. Responsibilities: Process delivery of physical certificates with competing deadlines and SLA obligations; Primarily process certificate split and account transfer-out requests; Primarily assist in the processing of Dated Legend expiries, US Legend Removal and Estate Transfer requests; Primarily process DRS deposits into CDS and DTC; Provide support for processing of securities deposits and withdrawals of physical certificates in CDS, DTC and with our foreign custodian; Provide support in timely collection and processing of Warrant exercise instructions from Investment Advisors and their Assistants. Assist in processing warrant expiries; Communicating with external Issuers (Legal Counsels), Transfer Agents and other internal departments within CG; Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets, business correspondence and other various documents to assist with Securities processes; Attend to the securities counter, handling the intake of physical certificates and cheques; Respond to client and broker inquiries in a timely manner; Perform additional responsibilities or projects as assigned; Maintaining an openness to cross-train and learn other areas of the Securities Services Department in order to provide support where necessary. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 1 - 3 years of securities industry experience; Previous experience handling physical stock certificates, warrants, and DRS is an asset; Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail; Strong customer service skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team (team player perspective is key); Hard-working, positive, dedicated and prepared to work overtime when necessary; Strong level of MS Outlook, Excel and Word required; Familiarity with Dataphile is an advantage. #INDHP #LI-VP1 All applications will be held in strict confidence.
