Human Resources Business Partner

The incumbent of this position is a trusted business partner, responsible for providing leadership, HR guidance and consultation to their business unit's management team to support them in achieving objectives business.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner, trusted HR advisor to assigned client groups, to help them design, develop and lead their team
• Provide advice in all key areas of HR in accordance with HR policies, services and program
• Ensure compliance with employment standards legislation and corporate policies to achieve operational excellence
• Design and implement strategies to develop skills and maximize member performance
• Lead several human resources initiatives and projects at the business unit level and participate in national HR initiatives
• Create tracking metrics and action plans and provide analysis of HR performance against key HR indicators to business unit leaders
• Ensure the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of HR policies, programs, services and change initiatives
• Promote a positive experience for members (employees) throughout the process and act as an ambassador for CGI.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to human resources management
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a high performance and fast paced environment
• Experience in call center and/or employees relations a considerable asset
• Demonstrated skills in talent management and organizational development
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities
• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Working at the office required (Montreal, Ahuntsic-Cartierville sector)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), in both French and English
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and human resource systems and tools
• Professional title of CHRP.
