Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

The Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Corporate Services, you will be responsible to provide leadership for financial planning and analysis and provide advice and guidance on financial strategy.

Key responsibilities of the position:

• Provide leadership for financial management systems, financial monitoring of assets and control to maximize organizational strategic performance and financial accountability.
• Lead operational management functions to create viable business plans and capture outcome/outputs in the GoldCare information systems.
• Provide leadership for the planning and budgeting cycles to ensure accurate forecasts.
• Supervise data analyst and maintain the configuration of the GoldCare database.
• Provide Leadership and support to team, and other organizational responsibilities.

What you bring to the role:

• CPA Accounting Designation combined with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior FP&A role.
• Previous experience in a not-for-profit environment preferred.
• Proven financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Vena Solutions for Financial Planning and Analysis preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a background in decision support and a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and support to non-finance managers.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with GoldCare an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Experience in health care an asset.
• Fluency in both official languages (English & French), or other languages, an asset.
