Cinch Communications is a full-service advertising agency located in Red Deer, AB. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Marketing and Project Manager. This is a newly created role that consists of the duties and responsibilities of the current Project Manager, and the addition of responsibilities that will lend a greater integration into the support and strategic planning of Cinch customers and Cinch Communications as its own client. The right candidate will also been keen to work directly with the Cinch team (in-house and remote staff) to engage everyone in project processes and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Client onboarding for new clients and existing clients’ projects:

  • Discussions and discovery meetings
  • Evaluation and assessment of current metrics to offer solution-based strategies.
  • New client call-in inquiries for all services (graphic design, logos, branding, PR campaigns, strategic planning, website design, social media strategy and management, copywriting, SEO management, and more)
  • Email follow-up from discovery sessions.
  • Proposal writing and deployment.
  • Contract writing and deployment.
  • Work onboarding based on new contracts.
  • Delegation to appropriate departments and team members.
  • Project management until completion or hand-off

Project Management

  • Inputting project details into Monday.com for smooth assignment and management
  • Delegation and follow-up on ongoing projects.
  • Assignment of fringe tasks such as acquiring printer quotes and logistics on deliverables.
  • Oversee time tracking on all projects and ensure teams are accurately inputting billable time on all projects.
  • Assign billable status by completion and dates and oversee proper invoicing with Account Managers.
  • Archive projects upon completion of work and billable status.

Team Management

  • Delegate and assign work, as onboarded, to appropriate teams and individuals.
  • Ensure appropriate transfer of strategy upon assignment.
  • Bring in resources and insights from other members, where necessary.
  • Provide structure and guidance team members during client projects.

Client Management and Representation

  • At all times, your role requires you to exclusively represent Cinch, its employees, its reputation, and its clients with professionalism and support.
  • Client management includes communication, follow-up, and answering questions where required throughout their journey with Cinch.
  • Clients are the backbone of Cinch. They are our ability to thrive and remain creative. As a team, we support each other in our collective quest to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • We are all a part of answering incoming phone calls and inquiries.

Marketing Strategy and Implementation

  • Strategic planning on all client projects and ongoing accounts to ensure maximum reach and exposure is delivered based on client budgets and project parameters.
  • Where required, this role must conduct SWOT analysis and planning for clients and projects.
  • Brand consultation and branding strategy.
  • Oversee that work is aligned with client expectations, contracts, and strategy.
  • Liaise with the Creative Director on all client strategy, planning, and onboarding.
  • Ensure appropriate internal education and cross-over happens with all accounts to teams and account managers.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing (preferred).

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in the project management client journey
  • Capable of conducting and analyzing market research to guide strategic decisions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Effective organizational capabilities with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong budget management skills and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role with project management responsibilities.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • A track record of successful project delivery and achievement of marketing goals.
  • Prior experience in stakeholder management both internally and externally.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Monday.com).
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for website updates and blog postings.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM best practices and strategies.
  • Experience in design or website management is preferred but not required.

This role works directly for the Owner and Creative Director. In the absence of the Creative Director for strategic planning and client meetings, this position will provide planning, guidance, and insights to onboard new clients.

In the absence of the Owner and Creative Director, this individual will be responsible for delegating work, overseeing team performance, and making decisions required for day-to-day operations and client satisfaction.

It is not expected that this role partakes in direct sales, however there are commission opportunities for any clients acquired on your own with your own efforts. Commission is awarded at 10% of all ongoing accounts (Social Media, SEO, and other monthly services) and single-service sales (branding, logo design, graphic design, website design, and more). All leads are tracked in the Sales Funnel to qualify for commission.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $68,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
