What is the opportunity? As a Mortgage Agent Assistant you will support a top producing Mortgage Agent by providing value added administrative service and support. Provides primarily responsive client contact management. Develops relationships with service partners to ensure operational guidelines are adhered to and transactions are processed efficiently. What will you do?
· Consistently provide superior service to client/lender/partner e-mail / telephone requests
· Consistently provide superior responsive execution and delivery of client transactions/requests
· Demonstrated personal commitment to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date and meet position requirements
· Manages Mortgage Agents e-mail/mail, proactively responding to correspondence/requests and prioritizes for Mortgage Agent
· Ensures Mortgage Agent’s calendar is effectively time managed to create capacity for all required activities
· Manages office routines and expenses ensuring efficiency is maintained through availability of equipment and supplies and effective management of files and records
· Ensures Mortgage Agent’s needs are proactively identified and provides required information/documents for him to complete duties. Gathers and prepares material required for presentations, marketing initiatives, etc.
· Supports the Mortgage Agent to complete/validate files and ensures due diligence requirements have been met prior to submission to lenders
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
· Minimum 1 year of demonstrated excellence in a service and sales support role working in collaboration with a sales person/team providing advice and responding to client requests
. Ability to successfully obtain Level 1 Mortgage Agent License within 3 months of start date
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Excellent communication skills, oral/written skills
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook
· Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, DocuSign, and other mobile applications)
· Resourcefulness and able to work independently
· Self-motivated, self-managed and thrive in a fast paced environment
· Strong problem solving skills with a sense of urgency
· Strong knowledge of the mortgage process and Home Financing products is an asset

Work Hours/Week: 37.5 Full time Work Environment: Office (once fully trained, hybrid of work from home / office is an option)
