Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, caring and perfectly bilingual individual to work under the direction of a behavior analyst, a psychologist and a speech language pathologist to guide young children with autism or language delays through various structured activities in a 1:1 clinical setting. The candidate would read detailed instructions and would carry out the session with the child.
The candidate would work with each child for a period of two-hours, for a total of four children per day. The session times are the following: 8:30, 10:30, 1:00 and 3:00. The position consists of workdays every Saturday and Sunday.
Education:
The candidate must be completing or have completed a bachelors degree in psychology, early childhood education, special education, child studies, psychoeducation or special care counselling.
Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Collect data on observable client behavior, Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment plans, support and connect with the staff.
** We cannot stress this enough - the candidate must speak perfectly in French and English.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
