Lumber Distribution Supervisor

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Lumber Distribution Supervisor on a permanent basis on our Home and building Solutions (HABS) team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

What you’ll do: 

• Oversee inventory and asset management at the LBM Distribution Facility. 
• On a weekly basis, review order files and establish local Co-op shipping schedules based on optimal routes and loads as well as available freight carriers. 
• Develop, implement, establish, and maintain procedures for the efficient and safe warehousing of inventory with regard to space, accessibility and positioning (including oversight of repairs and maintenance). 
• Co-ordinate the pick-up, delivery and invoicing of outbound orders to Local Co-ops and lead terminal maintenance and negotiating third party quotes for services provided by contractors. 
• Be responsible for the overall safety at the LBM Distribution Facility, including maintaining Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), and environmental compliance by updating and maintaining EH&S processes and documentation, and developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures.

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in ​Supply Chain​ and: 

• Have 6-9 years of relevant experience in Facility or Distribution Management.  
• Have a 2-year diploma in business or logistics (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). 
• Are familiar with lumber and building products. 
• Have a proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Outlook.
