Our client is the leading provider of commercial laundry equipment and service in Canada. They offer a complete line of vended and non-vended laundry equipment and multi-load washer/extractors and tumblers. Additionally, our client pride themselves on an extensive parts inventory and stocks, and qualified service teams who keep your laundry operations in top running order. They are currently looking for a ROUTE COLLECTOR/MONEY COLLECTOR for a full-time and permanent employment, on-the-road position, directly reporting to Service Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Route Collector, you will drive a company vehicle to customer locations to collect coins and data from our coin and card-operated machines. The ideal candidate must be a reliable and motivated team player with strong comprehension skills. The employee will also support on minor service repairs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect coins from each machine with 100% accuracy.
  • Accurately and legibly record machine counter readings.
  • Complete the collection route by the end of each day.
  • Perform collections at all locations during the designated 30, 60 or 90-day collection cycles.
  • Maintain the monthly overtime goal.
  • Maintain attendance and personal appearance standards described in the Employee Handbook and the Field Employee Appearance Policy Agreement.
  • Maintain and follow company vehicle-maintenance guidelines.
  • Maintain excellent driving and Worker’s Comp safety records.
  • Attend all required departmental/branch meetings.
  • Meet or exceed the standards outlined in the standard operating procedures manual.
  • Complete all the required training-program exams listed in the standard operating policies and procedures manual.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Support with minor service repairs.

Job Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand road maps, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of AVS procedures.
  • Ability speak clearly when communicating with a landline telephone or cell phone.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
