Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions
Use power tools and hand tools to cut, grind, and shape metal
Assemble fabricated parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
Safely operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment to move heavy materials
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Perform basic math calculations to measure and layout materials accurately
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet customer specifications
Assist with machining tasks as needed
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting
Class A-B Welders a strong asset
Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Skills
Ability to build and assemble metal components according to specifications

Familiarity with operating cranes and rigging equipment for material handling
