Welder

Responsibilities

• Class A-B Welders
• Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut, grind, and shape metal
• Assemble fabricated parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
• Safely operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment to move heavy materials
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Perform basic math calculations to measure and layout materials accurately
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet customer specifications
• Assist with machining tasks as needed
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting
• Class A-B Welders a strong asset
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  
  

Skills

• Ability to build and assemble metal components according to specifications
