Overview:
Crisis Centre North Bay is looking for an energetic and independent professional with accounting and office experience to work in our Administration Office. The office supports the staff and several programs that the Crisis Centre operates within the community. The position processes tasks such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Journal entries, Banking, General Bookkeeping Duties, tasks associated with the Annual Audit and Administrative duties.
Hours of Operation:
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2 years bookkeeping experience, including working with accounting software and Microsoft applications. Proficiency working with excel, ERP systems such as SAGE, Great Plains or QuickBooks is an asset.
· Good communication, organization, attention to detail and accuracy are all a must.
· The individual must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism while also safeguarding and protecting confidential information.
· Exemplary emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
· Excellent judgment, problem solving skills and strong decision- making ability.
· Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Criminal record check including vulnerable sector check is mandatory.
· Although not mandatory, preference will be given to bilingual candidates.
