Analyze business needs, optimize business processes, write requirements, act as IT-business bridge.
Your role:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data and data requirements specific to business needs (e.g. definition, business rules, security & service levels, quality, lineage, data flow, conceptual model). The main task of the position is to document the definitions in French and English in a tool that aims to be the official dictionary of the various insurance data.
Understand and analyze sector/business area data (data profiling).
Apply best practices in data governance and management as defined by the Data Office
Provide leadership in improving and managing data quality throughout the data lifecycle (e.g. setting targets and thresholds, dashboarding)
Assist new projects and initiatives by analyzing impacts on data requirements and perform tasks required to ensure that project data is adequately governed
Identify the needs of data consumers and formulate recommendations with the data owner.
Skills required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Approximately 3-5 years of increased experience in a business sector/area in Banking/Insurance
Knowledge of data
Experience with data tools: Snowflake, Databricks, GIT/Bitbucket, PowerDesigner, Collibra
