Laborer

Job Overview:
We are seeking hardworking and reliable General Labourers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be physically fit, punctual, and eager to contribute to a variety of construction tasks. You will assist in preparing job sites, loading and unloading materials, and performing other essential duties to ensure smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general construction duties, including site clean-up and preparation.
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) on-site.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Set up and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding.
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe for all workers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by site supervisors or foremen.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction is an asset, but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Good understanding of construction safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is a plus.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• construction: 1 year (required)

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (preferred)
