Role- DB2 Admin

Location - Toronto, ON

"Required Skills:

• Database Administration, who cares deeply about the security, stability, and performance of databases (predominantly DB2 and Mongo)

• Perform Database Installs and Upgrades and config changes.

• Install IBM TSA /Pacemaker and manage IBM Replications

• Monitor DATABASE Performance and tune as necessary.

• Evaluate, Install and Configure Database software products and related software’s.

• Enhance support and maintenance activities by implementing new automated process or improve existing ones.

• Collaborate with others to automate and improve our processes and deliver great results.

• Interact with business partners, answer questions, and respond to technical requests.

• Respond to service request within required SLA and clearly document actions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

• DB2: 5 years (required)
• ibm install: 3 years (required)
