The opportunity
The Canadian Talent Enablement team is seeking a Senior Human Resources Coordinator. Responsibilities include performing talent operational tasks, reporting, coordinating events or talent programs, and other HR processes. This role involves significant interaction with employees and other HR internal clients, as well as the third-party talent transactional services provider. The Senior Human Resources Coordinator works directly with the service line Talent team, focused on delivering exceptional client service.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist Talent team with communication and implementation of major people processes such as performance management, compensation and onboarding/offboarding. This includes leading certain operational components of these processes.
- In coordination with service line Talent team, support program administration, such as extended vacation, recognition and study leave programs.
- Interact with third party talent transactional service provider, providing guidance on or review of more complex transactions (such as employee separations), as well as troubleshooting escalations.
- Pull together data from numerous of sources, generate reports, and conduct base level analysis and recommendations for moderately complex issues.
- Provide guidance and share best practices with peers supporting other service lines.
- Conduct certain aspects of new employee orientations and presentations.
- Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.

To qualify you must have
- A Bachelor's degree or a certificate in Human Resources (or a related field). Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years experience executing Human Resources programs and processes
- Experience with HRMS system(s) that support HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle (SuccessFactors an asset)
- Strong skills in Excel and Power Point
- Ability to effectively learn and embrace new technologies and techniques
Ideally you will also have
- This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $56,400 to $84,600. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
