Irrigation Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. If you have a passion for working outdoors and have a strong mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems according to design plans
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems
- Perform regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of the system
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and seasonal changes
- Repair or replace damaged components such as valves, pipes, sprinkler heads, and controllers
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete installation and repair tasks
- Dig trenches and lay pipes for irrigation system installation
- Test irrigation systems for leaks and make necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques preferred.

Shop located at Bayview and Elgin Mills

7am start time daily

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
