Are you ready to ignite your career in fabrication? Look no further! FLINT is seeking an Overlay Operator to join our innovative team. As an Overlay Operator at FLINT, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge fabrication techniques, working with state-of-the-art equipment to create precision overlays that push the boundaries of excellence.
This is a permanent role based out of Airdrie, AB. The role works a 4-day compressed workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday, for 10-hour shifts. Must be safety conscious and dependable. Successful candidates must have previous labour or shop experience.
What would you be doing?
- Cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Cleaning off machinery at shops and client sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled trades in various tasks.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of our client's facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Does this sound like you?
- 1-year minimum labour experience in an industrial setting.
- Experience with operating an Overlay Machine is considered an asset.
- Experience in Welding would be an asset.
- Experience in Sandblasting would be an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Experience with shipping receiving would be an asset.
- Physically fit.
- Positive attitude.
