Barista

Independent coffee shop situated in the hip and trendy Mount Pleasant neighbourhood is looking for an energetic, upbeat and friendly barista to join our team. Must be enthusiastic about coffee and dedicated to providing quality customer service while working in a fast paced environment!

Previous barista experience and/or food industry experience is an asset. While previous experience working in hospitality or in a cafe is preferred, we also welcome individuals/students who may have no experience but with a positive attitude and willing to learn in a high energy environment. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

Duties range from preparing simple food items, making espresso beverages, cashier/order processing, opening/closing preparation, and general cleaning duties.

Compensation is based on experience and a raise will be provided after training period based on performance. Some of our best baristas make higher than average pay through sizable tips, by providing excellent customer service and preparing quality beverages.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
