Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have pet care experience and knowledge of canine and/or feline nutrition. Previous retail experience is an asset. Must have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and excellent communication skills are critical.
Responsibilities and Requirements

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a professional manner
- Have a passion for learning about products we offer
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Be able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Restocking of shelves
- Receiving deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organized store and working environment
- Collaborate with the team to meet customer needs
- Be committed, reliable, flexible and self-motivated.
Experience & Required Skills:
- Animal care and basic understanding of canine and feline nutrition
-Strong ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Proficiency in English
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proper Phone etiquette
- Retail experience using a POS system
