We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Supervisor/Director with a passion for the Montessori method. In this role, you will nurture a strong and supportive school community, ensuring that every child benefits from a high-quality learning experience. You will lead and inspire our school team, guiding them towards reaching their full potential.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Ensuring delivery of a high standard inclusive Montessori program, meeting CCMA and/ AMI standard.
- Stay informed about provincial licensing requirements and ensure the daycare adheres to all regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for licensing purposes.
- Notifies the Licensee of all inspections and reports from licensing authorities.
- Establishes and regularly maintains a waiting list families.
- Actively engage with the local community, building partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Building a strong community among staff, parents, and children.
We Love To Talk To You if You Possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- AMI or MACTE Certified Montessori Teacher.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Montessori experience and childcare management.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Experience in researching and writing grant applications is an asset.
- Experience in reconciling tuition collections and managing municipal subsidy funding and payments is an asset
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
