Qualifications

- 3 years of experience in the tree care/forestry industry

- Valid G license and clean driving record mandatory, must be able to drive a 5-ton vehicle

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Excellent customer service is mandatory

- Effective verbal communication skills

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

- Able to work in various weather conditions

- Team player at your very core

Key Responsibilities

- Perform the required ground, climbing, and aerial duties in support of each specific job assignment, as directed by the crew leader

- Showcase high safety standards, along with great tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper application of approved knots, proper climbing techniques and procedures, proper pruning and small removal skills, and proper rigging skills

- Must be capable of climbing a tree of any size with the use of proper climbing techniques in accordance with industry standards

- Effective and timely communication with management as to the status of jobs, quotes, ETAs, needs, etc

- Driving and operating a bucket truck

Experience

Arborist or Landscaping: 3 years

Licences

ISA Certified Arborist (preferred)

Ontario Qualified Arborist (preferred)

Air Brakes (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Climbing: 1 year (preferred)
• Bucket operation: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
