Security Guard

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises.

Duties:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security of the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Use CCTV systems for surveillance purposes
- Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts
- Perform loss prevention duties by observing for any suspicious activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in loss prevention techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week

• Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Security Guard Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
