Join the team at GSCI Advanced Photonics, a leading supplier of Night Vision and Thermal Imaging systems to Canadian and International Military and Law Enforcement customers. With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to design, develop, and manufacture electro-optics systems that are used across the globe.

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Administrator to support both our sales and marketing teams. Our ideal candidate will be tech savvy, detail oriented, comfortable with administrative tasks and research.

We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary and benefits. The pay is structured on a base pay of CAD$60,000 per year, with potential for growth depending on performance.

This position is not open for remote work and it is an in-office position at our headquarters in Woodbridge, ON.

Required experience:

- Min. a College Diploma in Business, Economics, Business Statistics, Marketing or related field

- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

The ideal candidate will be trained to fulfill the following duties:

1. Conducting necessary research and systematically organizing findings in a clear, concise manner, while ensuring that the research database is consistently updated and maintained.

2. Assist sales and marketing departments with projects as required.

3. Work with the sales team to complete product and pricing quotations and bid responses – including preparation and formatting of documents, reports, tenders, submissions and bid documentation.

4. Answer sales leads and forward them to the appropriate Sales Manager for follow-up. Including a pre-qualification process.

5. Develop and maintain sales procedures and forms. Suggest sales process improvements.

6. Maintain internal sales information/promotion management databases and prepare reports on company sales performance for management.

7. Staying up-to-date on industry knowledge, competitive offerings and capabilities, and product knowledge to ensure effective communication and demonstration abilities.

8. Utilizing Epicor ERP in daily operations with accuracy, following standard operating procedures.

9. Maintaining accurate customer records in Excel and Epicor ERP.

10. Managing social media posts and strategies based on current trends and research findings

11. Completing other administrative duties as required.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with highly professional clients and build strong working relationships;

5. A quick learner, with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills;

6. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong relationship management skills;
