JOB SUMMARY
The TFW Human Resources (HR) Coordinator must perform a range of duties supporting the HR Manager, other managers within the organization, and employees on a day-to-day basis. In this role, the incumbent will oversee the Temporary Foreign Worker program. The workers are from Mexico, so speaking Spanish is a key role requirement.
Our coordinators work full-time on-site. Flexibility may be required to complete training days or based on seasonal needs. Notice will be given in advance. In this role the successful candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and indirectly to the Business Operations Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Temporary Foreign Workers (TFW)
- Act as the direct point of contact for all TFW supports/ requests as they arise.
- Provide support with compliance audits and inspections (e.g., Public Health/ Service Canada)
- Assist with Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA) Work permit applications.
- Support Health and Safety with reporting and/or any additional requirements.
- Maintain TFW travel itineraries.
- Oversee onboarding/orientation and training materials, translation of required documents and policies.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe, clean, and legally compliant workplace.
- Assist with ensuring TFW program requirements and communication with relevant parties (e.g. Consulate, F.A.R.M.S, governments, etc).
- Act as a Backup for the HR Manager on the Temporary Foreign Workers Program (TFWP) duties.
- Any other TFW-related programming, training, resources, and support where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
- 1-2 years of work experience in human resources is required.
- Speak Spanish fluently as well as read, write, and translate.
- Highly motivated individual with proven initiative.
- Demonstrated work knowledge of multiple human resource areas preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams/SharePoint is an asset.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Presentation skills required.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
