Sawyer

Overview:
We are seeking a Sawyer to join our team. As a Sawyer, you will be responsible for operating a Norwood bandsaw and tools to cut, shape, and finish wood products according to specifications. This is a full-time position working outdoors with competitive pay and future benefits based on experience and performance. Responsibilities:
- Operate a band saw, chainsaw, and planer to cut wood materials
- Engage with customers
- Measure and mark wood materials for cutting and shaping
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all cutting and shaping tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sawyer or similar role is an asset but not required
- Motivated self learner
- Experience with small motors is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Forklift/tractor experience is a plus

This position is flexible - 10-40 hours a week based on shifts that work for your schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
