Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Follow delivery routes and schedules provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Skills:
- Experience with freight transportation and logistics
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is an advantage
