Part time barn worker

Requirements:

- Horse handling experience and a general working knowledge of horse care.

-G license and working vehicle (must have snow tires in winter – steep lane)

-Able to lift 50 lbs (hay, feed bags, etc)

-Reliable

-Able to work independently and take direction

-Working cell phone for communication and using app for clocking in and out

-Openness/willingness to a our way of being with horses

-Attention to detail and consistency with quality of work.

-Calm and positive demeanor

-Kind and patient when handling horses.

*What*

Duties include but not limited to:

-Barn Care (stalls, turnout, feeding, cleaning, maintenance of all horse and human spaces)

-Pasture Care (putting hay out, picking up and maintaining all outdoor horse areas)

-Horse Care ( body work, grooming, exercising- TBD based on experience )

*Where*

- Private 10 stall facility overlooking Georgian Bay about 10 mins from Thornbury On, 2 mins from Heathcote, On

*When*

ASAP

Somewhat flexible scheduling but will include some weekend shifts and holidays

Starting wage $20/Hr
