Journeyman Machinist & Supervisor Position Available

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a supervisor with machining responsibilities. In this role, you will oversee production, as well as operate machinery. Applicants starting wage would be $28 - $40 /hr based on skill set, academic accomplishments, shop floor experience and years in the trade.

Job Requirements:

5-10 years Job shop experience a must.

Must be fully capable to set-up and operate manual machines including lathe machine, milling machine and boring mill.

Can operate a drill press and hydraulic press.

Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment required.

Proficient in reading and understanding engineered drawings, blueprints, charts & tables.

Red Seal ticket experience with own tools an asset.

CNC Machining & Welding experience would be a benefit.

Ability to estimate jobs, have attention to detail and ensure machine shop floor is efficient.

Have the ability to complete tasks safely and efficiently, while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to deal directly with customers and be a team player is required.

Ability to work independently on job-site repairs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
