As a Manager, Digital Services, you will manage a team to support a diverse application portfolio. You will also be leading cross-functional application teams to deliver and operationally support digital solutions through all phases within Disciplined Agile Framework in alignment with ICBC's business strategies and priorities.
Position Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience managing cross-functional teams and in all aspects of people management (coaching, development, performance management)
- At minimum of 3 years experience designing and implementing digital solutions, some examples include web portals, authentication, contact centres, document management, and process automation.
- Experience in delivering digital channels with cloud-base solutions (e.g. chatbots/live chat, mobile applications, SMS, web content management, and portals).
- Experience in the planning and delivery of digital solutions, with proven project management skills (e.g. planning, tracking, monitoring, budget).
- Knowledge and experience implementing some of the following technology solutions: Contentful for web content management, SharePoint and OpenText for document management, Kofax for document capture, and Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism for RPA.
- Knowledge and experience in user centric design, machine learning, cloud and modern development practices (e.g. DevOps).
- Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation skills, and presentation and facilitation skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

This role requires you to:
- Lead agile delivery teams to enable organizational change through technology innovation and deliver value to business operations;
- Ensure projects, releases, feature upgrades, and maintenance fixes are delivered on time;
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business and IT and other corporate stakeholders, collaborating with stakeholders to ideate and experiment with new technology to solve business problems;
- Lead and build a high-performance team, provide inspiration and foster innovative approach to problem solving.
- Stays informed of trends in both technology and insurance industry.
- Be a pragmatic visionary who can translate business needs into innovative technology solutions that scale both technologically and operationally.
- Consult, communicate, and collaborate with various teams, (IT, business & 3rd party vendors) to ensure seamless integration of new solutions with timely and quality deliverables, meeting or exceed performance levels for stable operations.

Work arrangements defined:
- Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled workdays.
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Mobile – you will work remotely or in the field on scheduled workdays within British Columbia, with the requirement to be at your primary on-site headquarters by exception only.
