Job description: Quality Supervisor


IFC has been engaged in the Passenger Cabin Systems sector of the commercial airline industry since 1976 and is a TCCA, FAA, EASA and JCAB approved maintenance organization typically contracted by airlines, leasing companies and system OEM's to provide Maintenance, Design, NRE, Certification, Provisions Kits, Installation and Modification Services of Passenger Cabin Systems. IFC also has its own Passenger Cabin Systems.


For the Quality Department, we are looking for a Quality Supervisor reporting to the Quality Manager. In this role, you will:


  • Provide supervision over Inflight Canada’s Quality System and Compliance Monitoring System.
  • Coordinate The training program and risk identification and mitigation activities.
  • Be responsible for coordination with regulators (like TCCA, JCAB, etc).
  • Coordinate and execute annual quality assurance and compliance monitoring program to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Assist, when necessary, in managing and maintaining all regulatory and industrial approvals for the manufacturing and maintenance of aeronautical products (IFE and PSS components) and maintaining compliance of certification to the highest standards.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities, internal and external stakeholders (e.g. approved suppliers) on quality assurance and compliance monitoring issues.
  • Liaise with staff responsible for quality assurance and compliance monitoring to ensure continuous system improvement and harmonization of policies, procedures, and work instructions, while maintaining compliance with applicable Authority regulations.
  • Enable continuous feedback to the Accountable Executive regarding performance and compliance to the quality assurance and compliance monitoring elements of the integrated system. Ensure that non-conformities are detected, root causes analyzed, and appropriate corrective/preventive measures put in place.

  • Communicates clearly and concisely with colleagues.


Ideally but not necessarily our candidate possesses:

  • A background in a Transport Canada CAR 571/573 (maintenance) and CAR561 (manufacturing) regulated aerospace Quality System.
  • A working experience in an AS9100 certified organization.
  • Is fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
  • Experience in a supervisory position (is an asset).
  • Has detailed knowledge of TCCA/FAA/EASA maintenance and manufacturing regulations.
